Spring is in the air. Sitting on my old wood porch, I’m watching winter disappear. A quote from Book I of The Dudley Files: “So, here it was, spring, a time of re-birth and revitalization.” That’s right the land is becoming green and vital giving way to the dull grays of winter. I like sitting on my porch, smelling the cedar filtered cool air. Some of the winter birds are taking their leave while other previous departed are returning, taking their places. I guess those ducks using the river as a duck pond to raise their young will be leaving soon. Oh well, I’ll just wait for the Hummingbirds to head back to the ranch.
