Are You Half Emtpy Or Half Full

Half Full

L.E. was half in and half out. She couldn’t make up her mind. She is a sweetie, and yet she’s head strong. So, she was there for a while trying to figure out if she should go out or stay in.

That started me thinking, am I a half empty or a half full kind of guy? Now, I know I can be stubborn like L.E., but I feel certain when I see a glass with Careless Coffee at the halfway mark, I consider it half full. Sometimes it’s not easy to feel positive. Sometimes (especially now) things just don’t seem right. Maybe you’re not well. Perhaps something didn’t go your way. What if you lost your job? What if your significant other up and left you?

Sure, I’ve had all that happen, but I am certain I am a half full kind of guy. I think in a way, it’s much easier to be a half empty person, but that’s what it does – it leaves you empty inside. I like to take the time, think things through, and always find something positive. That is definitely always possible. Yes, I am a half full kind of person. Full of good things, good thoughts, good actions, and of course good Careless Coffee. If you are not familiar with Careless Coffee, then you are missing out my friend. Just read Book I or II of The Dudley Files and believe me, a Careless Coffee will fix you right up.

See, and I didn’t even ask you, “How does that make you feel?” Or, “That will be $150,” for a 45 minute session. Your welcome.

So, how about you? Are you a half full or a half empty kind of person? I’m not going to tell you what L.E. decided. You’ll just have to use your half empty or half full imagination to figure that out.

About Cary Robinson

Cary Robinson insists that Dudley writes the mystery novels, including Sold Out Without The Holdout and Burp Gun Bandit, while he merely types them up as the two of them sit out by the river and meditate on ways to not get any work done.
