Today the dogs and I walked along the Medina River. The water was bluish-green and unusually clear because the nutrients were drying up due to the cold weather. We didn’t see much. Most of the animals seemed to be in hibernation. We did see a few red ear turtles, some catfish, and some small perch swimming around. There was even a Kingfisher who buzzed right past us, chirped a clicking sound, dove into the river, and flew out with a minnow in his mouth. Now that takes talent.
