Cary Robinson debuts his beautifully illustrated children’s picture book. It is perfect for first time and young readers and focuses on using the imagination.

With so many distractions and diversions for young children today, learning creative and imaginative ways to think and approach situations is of vital importance. Monsters In My Yard uses simple rhyming text that flows gently and stimulates the use of brain power at an early age – the old fashioned way. Eisner Nominated Cartoonist, Bosch Fawstin, brings to life the wonderful imaginary characters that are friendly and inviting.

Monsters In My Yard is sure to become a classic, and one children will adore.

What Our Readers Are Saying:

“My kids (4yrs and 2yrs) LOVE this book. Every time I read this book to them, they immediately say “Again! Please!” The poem is simple yet clever…my kids will quickly be able to memorize it and be able to “read” along! The illustrations are the perfect balance of adorable and scary-monster-like. I highly recommend this book!” –E. Gaulke

“My day care children LOVED the book! One very savvy 5 year old picked up on the rhyming right away. Plus, it lead us into a discussion about our imaginations. It’s a darling book. They’re wondering if I can print coloring sheets about it. ;)” –Debbie V

“Watched my grandkids enjoy this book over and over again. Great way to start a conversation which compares real to imaginary.
It prompted some fun lively interaction. Great gift idea!” –Cheryl

Author, Cary Robinson

Cary Robinson, Author of Monsters in My Yard and The Dudley FilesCary Robinson is the author of the award winning dog comedy mystery series: The Dudley Files. He strayed from the dog path this time and decided to write his first children’s picture book. Cary has kids of his own and believes that children (and dogs) are the most important, innocent, and highly trainable part of society. “Why not get it right the first time.” Through his Independent Publishing House, Golden Hound Press, Cary intends to launch several more books from many different authors. He is also available to read Monsters In My Yard to groups of children and he usually has dog treats with him as well. Because you just never know.

Illustrator, Bosch Fawstin

Illustrator Bosch FawstinBosch Fawstin is an Eisner Nominated Cartoonist who’s been writing and drawing graphic novels, comic books, and cartoons for ten years.
