There once was a sweet donkey who lived on a hill
Everyone adored him, with love their hearts he would fill
He lived on a ranch – he like it just fine
But off in the distance he heard laughter and took it for a sign
He escaped from the ranch and walked down to the valley
He followed his heart, no time to dilly dally
He was surrounded by children and though his name was Eddie
They all called him Jewford and for the love he received he was oh so ready
They fed him, they hugged him, they pet him, they kissed him
He was fed so often, no one would mistake him for being slim
He made tons of friends and brought so much joy
He even had a friend named Kinky, who turned out to be a Jewboy
For generations through the years he was adored by all
Time passed by and happy he stood through winter, spring, summer, and fall
Jewford was finally called home and is now at rest
Living in the memories of those, the ones he loved best
RIP Eddie AKA Jewford
