While walking their dog, a couple in Northern California stumbled across something shiny on the ground. It turned out to be even better than a bone (although maybe not for the dog). There happened to be several old cans buried on their property with gold coins in them worth $10 Million dollars. The coins dated back from 1874 – 1894 and were in remarkably good shape. The property owners intend to keep some of the proceeds and help those less fortunate.
What is the moral of the story? First, rescue or adopt a dog (or two). Second, walk your new best friend(s) often. Three, pay attention when your dogs stumble across something.
You don’t need gold to be rich. All you need is to rescue or adopt a loving dog (or two). Have love in your heart of gold and you will be rich. Go pick up your new best friend.
Thank you for being an American!!!
You Sir are a Great Texan!
